Home. Showjumping. Small Holding.
Charlotte
I was born in Shropshire near Ludlow. As a child I loved the outdoors and animals; I could often by found carrying an unwilling chicken under my arm.  When we moved to the Peak District, despite showing talent as a ballet dancer, I begged my mother for a pony and, when she finally relented, I became the proud owner of a wonderful jumping pony called ‘Serenade’.  Together we would hack miles either to get to a Showjumping competition or to explore the countryside with a gang of other young riders.
Since then I have always worked with or had my own horses. Even while working as Air Stewardess I kept a horse.  I now have a gorgeous but haughty mare called ‘Grace’ and we compete as often as possible at various Showjumping venues in Shropshire.
I work part time in the Dairy Industry which allows me the time to work with my horses, keep poultry and doves, and enjoy our smallholding.  I love working outside in the sun either with our animals, in the garden or growing vegetables in our polytunnel.  I would also enjoy painting in oils and watercolours but I never seem to have enough time!!
